Gateway Balances

Total amounts issued by a gateway account, plus balances held in operational (hot wallet) addresses.

What

Shows an issuer's total outstanding obligations — how much of each token it has issued and still owes — plus balances parked in its own operational wallets.

Why you'd use it

It is the on-ledger audit report. Issuers use it for reconciliation; token holders use it to check how big an issuer's float really is.

How

Enter the Issuer Address you want to audit.
Optionally add a Hot Wallet Address so its holdings are reported separately instead of counted as circulating.
Run it and read obligations — the total of each currency the issuer owes to holders.

Watch out

Obligations only prove what is on the ledger — whether real dollars back those tokens is an off-ledger question about the issuer.
Forgetting to list hot wallets makes circulation look bigger than it is, since your own operational balances get counted like customer holdings.

For example

Your monthly reconciliation: gateway_balances says you owe 1,000,000 USD tokens, your hot wallet holds 50,000 awaiting distribution, and your bank statement shows 1,000,000 dollars. Books balance — screenshot it for the auditor.
