Watch out
- Only the account that created the channel can fund it.
- The recipient tracks your claims against capacity — tell them you topped up, or their software may reject claims above the old limit.
- Funding a closing channel can also push back its expiration, depending on how it is closing.

Your streaming-payments channel to a podcast host started at 50 XRP, and your claims have reached 48. You fund it with 50 more mid-stream — no interruption, no new channel.
