What

Publishes or updates your own on-chain price oracle: a document under your account holding up to 10 asset-pair prices, stamped with an update time.

Why you'd use it

If you operate a data service — or your app needs a price feed you control — this puts your numbers on-ledger where any XRPL app can read them.

How

Pick an Oracle Document ID (any number you choose, like 1) — it names this feed under your account; reusing it updates the same feed.
On first creation, set Provider (your service's name or domain) and Asset Class (like currency or commodity).
Enter Price Data as JSON: an array of {"base_asset", "quote_asset", "price", "scale"} — up to 10 pairs. Scale sets decimal precision: price 0.52 with scale 2 is stored as 52.
Submit and confirm tesSUCCESS. Repeat on a schedule to keep the feed fresh — the platform stamps the update time for you.

Watch out

An oracle is only as good as its refresh habit: readers check the last-update time and will (rightly) ignore stale feeds. The ledger also rejects update times too far from now.
The oracle object locks 0.2 XRP of owner reserve (more when it holds many pairs) until you delete it.
Prices are stored as scaled integers — get the scale wrong and your feed is off by powers of ten.
Publishing a price is an assertion, not a proof. Your reputation is the product.
