What

Lists an account's trust lines. A trust line is an agreement that lets an account hold a token issued by someone else, like USD from a specific issuer.

Why you'd use it

Use it to see which tokens an account holds, how much, and whether any line is frozen. Essential before sending someone a token — they can only receive it if they trust the issuer.

How

Enter the Account Address you want to inspect.
Optionally set Peer Address to filter to one counterparty (for example, just one issuer).
Run it and read each line: currency, the counterparty (account), balance, and limit (the most of that token the account agreed to hold).

Watch out

No trust line means the account cannot receive that token — payments will fail with tecPATH_DRY or tecNO_LINE.
Each trust line locks 0.2 XRP of owner reserve on the account that created it.
A frozen line (freeze flags in the response) means the holder can only send the token back to its issuer.

For example

You want to pay a contractor 100 USD issued by a known gateway. You check their trust lines first — they trust that issuer with a 5,000 USD limit, so your payment will go through.
